FAQ

FAQ

1) What is your response SLA?

We typically respond within 1 business day (Mon–Fri).
For active projects, update cadence is agreed upfront (e.g., daily / every 48 hours / per milestone).

2) What is your “Definition of Done”?

Before work starts, we align on Acceptance Criteria—a simple checklist that defines:

  • what will be delivered
  • in what format
  • with what standards (style guide, citations, layout rules, etc.)
A task is considered “done” when it meets the agreed criteria and is delivery-ready.

3) How do you handle file confidentiality and access?

We operate with least-privilege access:

  • we only request the minimum access required
  • we don’t reuse client materials for any other purpose
  • NDA can be signed when required
If you prefer, we can work through your controlled workspace (Drive/Notion/Tracker) to keep everything in your system.

4) Do you store my files? What’s your retention policy?

Default retention is 30 days after final delivery to support revisions and clean handover.
You can request earlier deletion any time, or request extended retention if needed.

5) What counts as a revision?

A revision is a change that keeps the work within the original scope and acceptance criteria, such as:

  • formatting alignment, spacing, headings, style consistency
  • reorganizing what you already provided (without adding new content)
  • correcting missed requirements from the original brief

If a request adds new content, new deliverables, additional sections, or changes the agreed output format significantly, it becomes a Change Request.

6) What is a Change Request and how is it handled?

A Change Request is any scope expansion after alignment (e.g., new sections, new formats, extra deliverables, new dataset/source requirements).
We’ll provide:

  • updated quote
  • updated timeline/milestones
Work proceeds only after written approval.

7) Do you offer urgent / rush delivery?

Yes—depending on workload and complexity.
Rush requests may include a rush fee due to priority scheduling and accelerated QC. We confirm feasibility before accepting.

8) How do payments work?

Payment terms depend on scope and timeline. Common structures:

  • upfront payment for small tasks
  • milestone-based payment for larger projects
  • monthly retainer for recurring support
Details are always confirmed in writing before work starts.

9) Can you help with academic work?

We support academic-related tasks within integrity boundaries, such as:

  • formatting (APA/MLA/Chicago), layout, citation consistency
  • structuring, clarity improvements, proofreading
  • organizing sources and notes you provide
We do not provide services intended to violate academic integrity rules. You remain responsible for compliance with your institution’s policies.

10) What do you need from me to start quickly?

To reduce back-and-forth, send:

  • objective + target output (what “done” looks like)
  • reference files / examples / templates
  • required style guide (APA/MLA/Chicago, brand guide, etc.)
  • deadline and priority level (standard vs rush)
  • any tool preference (Google Docs, Word, Notion, etc.)
